Turn payments into points with Apron and Virgin
You can now earn points on supplier and payroll payments, and convert them to Virgin Points to use with Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
Turn your biggest business outgoings into rewards with Apron and Virgin. You know the feeling of earning rewards on your personal spending. Now you can get the same feeling from your business spending.
Simply toggle on rewards when making a payment in Apron to start earning points.
You have two options:
Earn 1 point per £1 spent for a 1.6% fee, or
2 points per £1 spent for a 2.9% fee
Points earned on supplier and payroll payments are yours personally.
Convert them to Virgin Points and use towards flights, seat upgrades, hotel stays, days out, and culinary experiences.

You can get involved whether you’re a new or an existing Apron customer. If you already have points on your balance, your 50,000 qualifying points will start from your next payment.

Capture reimbursement receipts in seconds
Whether it’s a lunch receipt or an emergency supplies run to the local shop, reimbursements are one of those tasks that fall by the wayside and cost businesses money. After all, all of that manual data entry takes up valuable time you just don’t have.
Now, when you snap a photo of a receipt, the details will be extracted on the spot, so you can review and submit your request, no manual entry needed.
Also, there's now a dedicated space to view and manage all your reimbursements, both on mobile and web.
For teams with more complex workflows, we’ve added multi-step conditional approvals. Requests get routed to the right people automatically, based on rules you define.

Handling mileage reimbursements
For mileage reimbursements, just enter your starting point and destination, the distance will be automatically calculated using your mileage rate your company has set up for that vehicle type.
